Maurice Unis / Co Owner

Since the mid 1970’s, pianos have been Maurice’s passion, a passion inherited from a long line of family members. In fact, Maurice had grown up around pianos. His maternal grandfather, Maurice T. Schuster, a violinist and piano tuner, owned a well-known piano company in Portland and coached his grandson in the finest aspects of the piano. Over the past 30 years in the piano business, Maurice has become a sought-after industry expert and consultant, and, with his three sons, owns and operates piano showrooms in seven major US cities. His stated belief is, “There really is no secret to success in the piano business. Just give the buyer the widest possible choice, devote yourself to customer service, and be happy to take the same piano back on trade-up—no matter how many years down the line.” As co-owner of Falcetti Pianos, Maurice and his family are thrilled to be part of the piano community in New England.
